We're looking for a Service Coordinator to join our Transportation team on our A417 project based in Gloucester on a 12 month fixed term basis dealing with overall management of the underground / overhead service protection across the A417 major project.

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract, Full time
Salary: Up to £57,000 per annum + £5.9k car allowance + benefits
Responsibilities
As a Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing the permit system with co-ordination between the Kier staff, supply chain and SU providers. On a fixed term 12 month contract with the ability to extend depending on project requirements.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing the permits system for overhead and underground services, co-ordination between Kier, supply chain teams and utilities construction managers, providing recent utility plans and service diagrams for requested excavations
- Assist authorised persons, supervisors, and excavation teams in interpreting service drawings, supporting supervisors, excavation teams, and gangers in understanding service drawings, ensuring both employed and supply chain workforce follow service
- Acting as a central liaison with service providers for site or transient location issues, reviewing SU record drawings against PAS128A data and as-built information to ensure permit accuracy
- Authorising the permit to break ground, ensuring all relevant information and controls are documented before excavation, ensuring accurate completion and electronic storage of the permit for the project's duration
- Maintaining records of authorised and responsible persons' appointments for audits, notifying service providers of any incorrect PAS128D drawings, ensuring Kier minimum HSE standards are maintained
